Build the interdimensional help desk we’ll all need in the sci-fi future.
Just for fun, let’s assume that AI doesn’t kill us all and science manages to survive the 21st century. The distant future has made enormous leaps forward: interdimensional storage space; faster-than-light communication and travel; intergalactic trade agreements with alien civilizations.
One thing hasn’t changed, though: people still need customer support. Hyperdrive is acting up and still under warranty? Shipment got lost in the punch dimension and you value the moneymaker too much to go get it yourself? You’re gonna have to get in touch with someone to figure things out.
Your job today is to imagine a help desk that’s worthy of a sci-fi future. Voice control, multi-device, contextually aware — or maybe you even tackle the truly impossible, like having the call-in app actually send all the information you give it during the automated verification process to the human agent so you don’t have to the whole process over again.
Choose a suitably futuristic scenario and build the support app to help people get through it. Use any combination of voice, AI agents, dashboards, messaging, and anything else you need to make The Customer Support System Of The Future™.

FAQ
Can I build my app as part of a team?
Yes! While building solo is absolutely fine, we encourage teams of 2 for these challenges. Part of the fun is collaborating with other people. However, please note that while teams of 3+ are allowed, each project will receive a maximum of 2 of each monetary or product reward.
Am I allowed to use AI?
You’re allowed to use any tool that you would use as part of your regular workflow. We only ask that you try to keep in the spirit of the challenge, which is to learn something new. We do reserve the right to deny rewards to any submissions that appear to be entirely generated by AI, as that violates the spirit of the challenge.
I’m not sure I have enough experience to build this. Should I still try?
Yes! These challenges are perfect for trying something new with a limited time commitment and low stakes. We all start out not knowing how to do stuff — it’s only by doing stuff that we gain the experience and confidence that makes us able to do stuff. This is also a great opportunity to pair with someone and help each other level up. Ask a friend, or hit up the CodeTV Discord to find someone to work with.
