Build an app to show gratitude

What could you create if you had 30 minutes to plan and 4 hours to build? Zeu Capua, Brian Holt, Sarah Schulte, and Jason Lengstorf took on the Web Dev Challenge to find out.

The Challenge

We all have moments, big or small, that make life just a little brighter. And there’s a growing body of research that says pausing to be grateful for the good things can actually make us happier. Your challenge is to build an app that’s based in gratitude, for yourself or for the greater good.

How you interpret this is part of the fun. You can build an app that helps users practice gratitude, build an app that’s part of you practicing gratitude on your own, or do something completely off the wall. This prompt feels very “sincerepost” on its face, but there’s no expectation that we need to be serious or somber — feel free to get weird with it!
